**The Role**
As a key member of our team the Golf Course Technician is responsible for all maintenance procedures on the golf course. The job requires physical labour, such as bunker raking and edging, operating hand-mowing, line trimmers, shoveling of dirt/sand, laying sodding, etc.
**Your contributions to the team include**:

- Operate mowers and string trimmers for greens, tees, banks, and hillsides.
- Maintain sand traps and cart paths.
- Set tee markers and cups on greens as required.
- Perform sand trap raking and edging.
- Line trim and hand-mow areas.
- Lift and lay sod.
- Rake leaves and weed mulch beds.
- Maintain fuel and fluid levels for all equipment daily.
- Report any equipment problems.
- Return all equipment to the designated location at the maintenance facility.
- Clean all equipment used daily.
- Assist in the weekly cleaning of all maintenance buildings.
- Hand water and fertilize tees, greens, and fairways.
- Assist in the construction of new greens, tees, fairways, or sand traps
- Additional tasks and duties as assigned.

**A few things we are looking for in a new team member**:

- Physical strength, stamina, and agility to perform demanding tasks.
- Ability to work early mornings.
- Strong listening skills for following written or oral directions.
- Ability to work effectively both individually and in a team environment.
- Ability to treat all people with respect.
- Experience with hand power tools and landscaping equipment an asset.
- Knowledge of the game of golf, or willingness to learn.
