Responsibilities include machine operation, maintenance, and adherence to safety protocols.

**Responsibilities**:

- Operate asphalt paving equipment to lay, spread, and compact hot mix asphalt for roadways, parking lots, and other surfaces
- Perform minor maintenance on equipment, such as lubricating, fueling, and cleaning
- Ensure safety of crew members and public by following all safety regulations and protocols
- Communicate effectively with crew members and supervisors to ensure project goals are met
- Operate other equipment as needed, such as rollers, skid steers, and loaders
- Ensure company equipment is lawfully operated, cared for, maintained and used effectively.
- Complete necessary paperwork and documentation, such as time sheets, equipment inspection reports, and work orders.
- Conduct hazard assessments, tool box meetings, and employee training, to ensure a safe and effective work site.

**Requirements**:

- Ability to operate and maintain Asphalt Paver machines
- Willing to work overtime, as required.
- Willing to work out of town
- Experience in asphalt paving and road construction
- Must possess strong English proficiency skills, both verbally and written.
- Physical stamina and ability to work in varying weather conditions
- Attention to detail and ability to operate equipment with precision
- Valid Class 5 driver's license

**Job Types**: Full-time, Seasonal

- 12 hour shift
- Day shift
- Night shift
- Overtime
- Weekends as needed

**Experience**:

- Paving Operator: 2 years (required)
