**Machine Operator**

The Machine Operator is responsible for safely operating production equipment and making decisions on the quality of the parts produced.

**Job Duties & Responsibilities**

This is an **entry level** position and full training on all requirements will be provided. The position works on rotating shifts, and overtime is available. **This position requires repetitive work, lifting up to 15lbs, and the ability to use hand tools.**

**The specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following**:

- Maintain continuous operation of the production process
- Complete a pre-start safety check prior to shift commencement.
- Complete all necessary paperwork (ie. pre-start safety checks, production sheets, bin tags, In-process sheets, sensor and error proofing check log etc.)
- Effectively communicate to the supervisor or the next operator at shift change, of any visual or dimensional defects.
- Understand inspection procedures, make checks as necessary per control plan.
- Use a hand tool where necessary to improve a finish on a part.
- Ensure that all unacceptable parts be counted and disposed of into scrap bin.
