Building Services Support

**THE OPPORTUNITY**
The Building Services Support is responsible for the day-to-day upkeep, maintenance, cleaning, and snow removal/sanding of assigned lodge(s). Facilitate set-up and smooth efficient operation of in-house social/special events. Assist other Building Services staff when needed. Must be flexible to accommodate early morning snow removal and occasional evening special events.
**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Interact and converse with members, guests and other employees in a friendly, courteous and co-operative manner. Maintain a positive and helpful attitude towards members, guests and other employees.
- Assist with the clean-up and maintenance of the Clubhouse and/or Lodge.
- Assist with shoveling and sanding as required.
- Ensure windows and lighting in good operating condition and appearance.
- Responsible for collecting garbage and recycling materials in Club buildings/lodges and disposing in appropriate bins.
- Maintain fires in woodstoves and fireplaces and re-stock woodpiles in lodges. Fires to be monitored throughout the day and put out at the end of the day.
- Assist events coordinator with set up/take down of special events in Club lodges, e.g. placement of tables/chairs, signage, decorations, etc., etc.
- Support special events in Club lodges.
- Assist with set-up of on-hill special events and transport of materials/equipment, e.g. sound system, tables, chairs, delivery of food/beverages, etc., ensuring appropriate safety policies and procedures are followed.
- Support the sound system, microphones, television and remotes at all times.
- Skis and snowboards left in ski slots outside to be put away at end of day.
- Keep lodge fire exits clear and accessible.
- Assist kitchen staff when required.
- Assist Operations staff when required.
- Other duties and responsibilities as determined by your Supervisor.
**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Hospitality experience would be an asset.
- Ability to work in various/changing weather conditions.
- Perform all tasks safely in accordance with the health and safety policies.
- Demonstrated exceptional customer service skills.
- Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Must be physically fit and able to perform physically demanding activities e.g., snow shoveling, furniture moving, up and down stairs, standing for long periods of time.
- Flexible, adaptable and able to execute a range of job duties and changing priorities.
- Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Possess professional maturity and impeccable integrity.

Must be available weekends and holidays. Wages will be determinded based on experience.
