Kingston, Canada CCIC Agri-Food Testing (North America) Inc. Full time

Responsibilities:

- Sample preparation and pre-processing.
- Conduct various testing tasks following the established SOPs and in compliance with ISO/IEC 17025 requirements and the Company’s safety guidelines.
- Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot a series of analytical instruments such as HPLC,GC, ICP/MS etc. with minimum supervision.
- Continuously identify risks and opportunities for improvement associated with the testing procedures and report to the supervisor for non-conformities.
- Coordinate with co-workers and deliver the data before schedule deadline and turnaround time.
- Perform method validation and verification and draft the report.
- Draft, collect, and review testing raw data and record for accuracy before submitting to Lab Manager
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Work overtime as needed.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum a half year laboratory experience or internship experience, dairy or grain testing preferred.
- Good Understanding of ISO17025 and relevant regulations of Canada.
- General knowledge of chemistry and/or Microbe, familiar with the use of analytical equipment preferred.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Strong computer, scientific and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude.
- Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously and remain calm under pressure.

Work Time:

- Work on site in-person as a part-time technician (Experienced/Entry-Level/New Grad).

On Board Date: ASAP

Pay: $18.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Flexible language requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
