5 Ton Flat Deck Driver

New Westminster, Canada Standard Truck & Crane Ltd. Full time

The position is Full-Time Monday to Friday (30-40 hours).

As a Flat Deck Operator, you will spend most of your time out on the road in a company vehicle. You will be dispatched to pick-up and drop-off locations across the lower mainland, and will need to have a working knowledge of all the major roads and cities as well as a valid BC Driver’s License (Class 5). You will be responsible for delivering a wide variety of packages and filling out the appropriate paperwork.

**Basic Requirements**:

- Fluency in English (Written & Verbal)
- A second language is an asset but not necessary
- A valid BC Driver’s License (Class 5)
- A clean driver’s abstract
- Customer Service Experience
- Ability to effectively manage time, multi-task, and prioritize in high stress situations.
- Ability to lift at least 50lbs
- Knowledge of the Lower Mainland
- Must be legally authorized to work in Canada without sponsorship of employment visa status (i.e. must have Canadian Citizenship or Permanent Residency)
- Experience operating 5ton flat decks

**Educational Requirements**:

- High School Graduate (Some Post-Secondary Education Preferred)
