**ROLE MISSION**
Guarantee the optimization of production plans, through careful planning of the work centers and resources, with a view to limiting the production lead time and respecting the delivery date of the customer.
**SPECIFIC ACTIVITIES**
- Monthly plan the production of the sales orders received, defining the delivery date of the finished product to the Customer.
- Saturate and balance production resources, machines or labor, with a view to efficient use of resources
- Propose outsourcing of some processes of the production cycle, considering:
- the production technology available, both internal and external,
- the saturation of internal production capacity,
- the possibility of satisfying a product need that is not feasible internally,
- the flexibility it guarantees,
- the possibility that it offers in compliance with the delivery date to the Customer, in the event of production oversaturation.
- Verify the feasibility of an order based on the availability of materials purchased or supplied for subcontracting, proposing any rescheduling in the face of delays or supply difficulties.
- Generate production orders in the management system, and verify their correct division, according to:
- the BOM structure,
- the technical batch of bulk or another level of SL, made in a machine with limited working capacity.
- Maintain the start and end dates of production present in the work orders, aligning them with the production plan, to ensure the correct temporal triggering of requirements.
- Monitor the progress of the orders launched for production, to assess compliance with the defined plan or any necessary re -planning in the face of production delays.
- Determine the need for temporary staff according to the orders in production, and in particular the manual product packaging activities.
- Manage and coordinate external contractors:
- as a function of internal planning, if the phase of the production cycle carried out externally is preliminary to the phases of external processing,
- depending on the date of delivery to the customer, when the stages carried out at the subcontractor are the terminal ones of the product production cycle.
- Coordinate and supervise the editing and printing of production worksheets, ensuring:
- precision in composing the entire worksheet,
- the correct indication of the variable information, in particular the expiration date and batch identification.
The following organizational tasks are also assigned to the Production Planning Officer:
- Monitor that the process is relevant to what is defined, that each resource complies with the established and shared procedures and rules, to guarantee the achievement of the established objectives.
- Report process inefficiencies and propose solutions, sharing them with the resources of your area, with a view to continuous improvement.
- Supervise the correct use of work tools; collecting and transferring critical issues and requests regarding them to those of competence.
Communicate to their collaborators all information of an organizational rather than operational nature functional to the performance of their activities.

**REQUIREMENTS**
Education requirements
Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering or similar technical degree
Competence requirements
Informatics:
knowledge of the main tools of the Office package (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Understanding and experience with ERP management systems would be an asset.
Technique:
knowledge of good manufacturing techniques of the range of products manufactured
knowledge of industry-specific production technologies
knowledge of the production process and the main characteristics of all phases of the production cycle
knowledge of the different types of products and their technical characteristics
knowledge of the main technical parameters characteristic of the pharmaceutical forms produced
General:
knowledge of the characteristic flows of a company
Specific:
ability to organize and plan one's work, working towards the achievement of objectives
aptitude to identify critical situations, analyze them, and formulate alternative solutions ( problem solving)
