Our goal is to thoroughly understand our clients' business challenges, make technical recommendations to solve them and then build, deploy and implement robust cloud engineering solutions that ensure a high level of Security and Compliance is met.

**Role **Description**

This is a senior leadership position that is responsible for building and operating the newly formed Amdocs Cloud Solutions team and is directly reportable to the Global CTO - Cloud. You will be responsible for a solutions team of approximately 15 individuals, that services a global PSO and Pre-Sales community exceeding 500 individuals.

The core accountabilities include the definition, building, and maintenance of 4-5 core solutions offerings that are the mainstay of the cloud business unit. Each solution area will have 3-4 sub streams that will require specific assets, code, accelerators, references, marketing, and other associated assets to be built and maintained. The role requires extensive collaboration with the sales, pre-sales, and PSO teams to ensure transparent roadmaps, capture client feedback, and measure the effectiveness of each solution. The solutions team is a mixture of seasoned professionals and net-new hires that you will be accountable for recruiting.

As the operational owner of the solutions team, you will partake in global offsites, annual planning, and are expected to maintain the resourcing, fiscal, and performance of the solutions team. Directly reportable to the CTO, you will have significant influence and accountability to set the direction of each solution. A strong background in consulting, solutions delivery and public cloud environments is highly advantageous.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Technical Expertise - Serve as a technology leader, offering strong opinions and experience in the selection, building, and governance of all CTO solution areas. You will assist with the definition of the solution areas, oversea the quality and completeness of the solutions, and provide direct hand-on technical review and guidance to the downstream teams. You will be supported by operational teams to govern the unit.
- Professional Leadership - Review technical designs, partake in roadmap and planning, and provide guidance to teammates on cloud automation development, maintenance & lifecycle. Host and run effective roadmap planning with external communities including sales, pre-sales, and PSO. Provide continuous, consistent, and transparent feedback upstream and downstream. Set out and maintain career and technical development plans for all members of the solutions team.
- Unit Leadership - Build and operate an annual operational plan for the solutions unit. Maintain recruiting and HR pipeline.
- Customer Focus - Understand market trends and direction, specifically in the public cloud solutions areas. Interface with peers at the public cloud providers to educate, promote, and iterate core solutions offerings. Measure and test existing offering to ensure market fit. Explore novel and emerging solutions areas. Understand the traditional product portfolio and the integrations and requirements of that software.

**Critical Experiences**
- Minimum 5+ years cloud domain experience
- 2+ years of prior team leadership experience in a large enterprise environment
- Proven experience in cloud automation, development methodologies, principles, procedures, software management, and support tools and services.
- Proven track record in leading development projects and delivering whole products or solutions to the market.
- Experience with enterprise companies is an added advantage.

**Credentials**

Computer Science degree or equivalent - information technology, management information systems, software engineering, and networking.

Advanced AWS, Azure or GCP certifications preferable.
