We are seeking a pharmacy delivery driver to join our team in Vancouver.

**Position Summary**

A pharmacy delivery driver plays an important role and works closely with our team to ensure patients get their medications on time and safely. They transport medications and necessary items to pharmacies, clinics, and patient's homes utilizing a company vehicle. Excellent driving skills, attention to detail, and customer service are important. A detailed background check will be conducted.

**Job Duties & Responsibilities**
- Ensure timely and safe delivery of medications to clients
- Verify delivery addresses and ensure accurate handling of payments
- Adhere to traffic and safety regulations when driving
- Maintain adequate records of deliveries, mileage and expenses through log books.
- Keep track of delivery schedules and coordinate with pharmacy staff at each location
- Responsible for vehicle cleanliness, routine maintenance and reporting issues to management
- Assist pharmacy inventory management as needed
- Provide exceptional customer service and maintain professionalism at all times
- Provide a warm and friendly interaction internally and externally
- Help with pharmacy assistant duties when needed, e.g. filling and blister packaging
- Operate cash register and complete customer pickups as needed
- Other duties as requested by supervisors

**Qualifications**
- Valid Class 5 Driver's License and clean driving record
- Familiar with Metro Vancouver - geography and street names
- One year of experience is preferred
- Highschool Diploma or equivalent
- Basic computer and phone skills
- Able to sit or stand for extended periods of time.
- Able to lift and carry heavy boxes or equipment, up to 50 lbs
- Availability to work flexible hours, including Saturdays
- Attention to detail and accuracy when handling medications
- Prior pharmacy or healthcare experience is an asset
- The ability to speak Cantonese and/or Mandarin is an asset (due to client demographics)

**Salary information**:Starting from $19+ per hour

**Hours**:24-40 hours from Monday - Saturday.

Shorter shifts are available.

**Education**:

- Secondary School (required)

**Experience**:

- Delivery driver: 1 year (preferred)

**Language**:

- Cantonese or Mandarin (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Class 5 Driver's License and Clean Record (required)

**Location**:

- Vancouver, BC (required)
