**FitFix Inc.** is hiring for a **Fitness Equipment Service Technician.**

FitFix is a leading fitness equipment sales & service company based in Calgary, Alberta. We have been offering Sales, Service, and Repairs for new & reconditioned fitness equipment for residential and commercial clients since 2005.

We are continuing to growing our current portfolio with expansion goals across Canada.

**Job Duties and Responsibilities**:

- We are looking for someone to hire and train immediately, who will be able to responsibly, professionally, and meticulously clean/detail, service/diagnose & repair both commercial & residential fitness equipment.
- You’ll be dealing with clientele on a regular basis and need to have well spoken English.
- You'll be traveling all over Calgary and eventually trusted with our clientele outside the city limits as we do service Alberta, B.C. & Sask.
- Service supplies will be provided for you which will be your responsibility to keep **clean **and **organized**. Laundry detergent etc supplies will be provided.
- This job is suitable for both males or females, but heavy lifting will be required as equipment will need to be moved. Lifting of apx. 100-150 Lbs will be necessary at times.
- This will be a Full-Time job, typically from 9-5 for most commercial customers. Residential could potentially be outside those hours but rare.

**Eligibility and Requirements**:

- You MUST have a GOOD grasp of basic electronics and mechanical skills, a MacGyver mind
- set sure helps as well as some knowledge of fitness equipment, even if just from previous usage.
- Full Time position available for either employee or contractor.
- A vehicle, smartphone and your own hand tools are essential. Specialty tools will be provided.
- Willing to sign a 6-month contract
- Must send resume with references and willingness to have a background check done. References will be verified before offering the job. So pls make sure they are included.

**Benefits**:
Pay starts at $15/billable hr while training for a period of 1 month after which we will assess your performance. If we both feel comfortable enough then an increase to $20/billable hr will be implemented. $10 travel/customer job is supplemented once you're on your own. Travel is paid only for customer billable jobs.

After the 6 month probation period we will again reassess your performance for further compensation along with further service duties.
- The right individual will be trained into a managerial position to grow a team.
- Proper on the job training will be provided.
- More specifics re. the job scope will be provided along with a questionnaire for considered applicants.

**Salary**: $15.00-$25.00 per hour
