The Academy of Music in Oakville, Georgetown, and Burlington is looking for a full time music school admin (35 hours per week). No music education or experience is required. We prefer someone with experience in restaurants, hospitality, hotels, catering, banking, medical, any fast paced and hard working customer experience.

We are looking for someone that loves people, kids and is dedicated to doing their best at their job. It doesn't hurt if you love to listen to music, but you do not need to be able to play it : ).

Must have reliable transportation to travel between our Oakville, Georgetown, and Burlington offices as the position is divided between locations.

Must be willing to work as needed at all three locations. Hours are primarily 2:00-9:00 p.m. Tuesday - Friday and Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

JOB DUTIES:

- Being trained in all aspects of running the music schools.
- Answering phones (We're looking for the GOLDEN VOICE, that sounds amazing on the phone with a great tone and excitement for our customers. If anyone has told you, that your voice should be on the radio, we're looking for you).
- Great memory with ability to remember lots of details.
Forgetful types please do not apply. This job has a lot of moving parts.

- An ability to sell themselves as well as our services. Looking for someone with a great personality that is a people person.
- If you hate sales, please do not apply. Selling our school on the phone to potential clients is one of the most important parts of this position.
- Registering clients
- Processing paperwork
- Cleaning
- Communicating with teachers, staff and clients.
- Interacting with customers

**Ideal qualifications and experience**:

- Restaurant, Hospitality, Hotels, any experience having to deal with intense customer service.
- Phone customer support
- Bank teller
- Retail
- Shipping center
- Medical office
- Salon
- Any experience with a lot of face to face interaction with the public.

**IDEAL TRAITS**:

- People person
- Great memory (forgetful types need not apply)
- Good with Microsoft office, Google products, and social media
- Great phone skills
- Ability to work alone
- Ability to multi task and keep up with lots of details
- Manage a fast paced environment

Pay: starting at $18 per hour + bonuses when milestones are achieved
