**The JobCleaner and Hospitality Ambassador** for Vacation Rentals/Short-Term Rentals/Air BnB’s within Muskoka
**Scope**: Part-Time Year Round
**Start Date**:Mid-May
**Location**: On the road
**Hours**: Generally within 10 am to 4pm daily.
We service clients 7 days weekly, with 2 rotating days off
- Perform all tasks commensurate with a full turnover cleaning service at each property, including following cleaning checklist, laundry, damage assessment and reporting, inventory tracking for any consumable goods, time-stamped photos
- You’ll be provided with a detail sheet and scope of tasks for each property with clear direction on how each space should be left for incoming guests
- Smart Phone is a must - we use a couple of different apps for scheduling/reporting
- Vehicle in good condition is a must

**About You: Your Knowledge and Skills**:

- Self-Starter able to work independently and efficiently
- Positive and energetic approach to team and jobs
- Hospitality focussed - if you see an easy way to make a guest’s stay better, taking the initiative to follow through on that
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to follow specific directions / task lists
- Common sense is part of your daily habit
- Cleaning and/or hospitality industry experience is an asset but is not essential
- Keen eye for and attention to detail
- Problem solving ability
- Speak and read in English

**Required for the Job**:

- Valid Driver’s License
- Smart Phone
- Pass a police check
- Your own cleaning equipment and materials: vacuum cleaner, mop, bucket, cleaning products (Please note we will provide you with your initial set of consumable cleaning supplies. You are responsible for replacing them as needed. If specific, uncommon cleaning products are needed at any home the owner will provide those for you to use.)
- Ability to physically perform all tasks involved with each job - ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Winter months: occasionally snow shovelling of entrance areas at some properties
- Dress code: casual, clean, tidy

**Compensation**:

- This is an independent contractor position offered at $35 hourly plus travel (set amount that varies per location)
- Performance bonus at year end
- Payment schedule: Twice Monthly (middle and end of each month)
- Schedule: Monday to Sunday with 2 rotating days off weekly. Dec 24 to 26 off each year.

Pay: $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 30 per week
