Cross Country Manufacturing is a growing company that has a creative atmosphere and promotes from within.

Responsibilities to include, but not limited to:

- Liaise with Production Manager, Drafting Manager and Engineers to gather product and structural requirements.
- Interpret Drawings and Client Specifications, while complying with company policies and industry standards.
- Calculate dimensions, weight limitations and requirements.
- Participate in new product launches
- Complete new designs as well as update existing.
- Ensure final designs comply with local regulations and within quality standards.
- Creating BOM’s, Weldment, and Cut Lists for production processes
- Creating and modifying prints to accurately convey design information to production
- Working with production employees to identify operational issues and redesign to improve functionality.
- File reports from production and discuss with engineering team

Qualifications:

- Mechanical or Design Engineering degree or related experience is an asset
- Highly motivated and a self-starter
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to communicate with office and production personnel
- Detail oriented
- Strong organizational and planning abilities
- Adaptable and flexible attitude
- Willingness to learn and grow with our expanding company
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products
- Experience working with SolidWorks or similar 3D design software programs (preferred)
- Knowledge of manufacturing (preferred)
- Ability to plan, schedule, and deliver per project requirements

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $18.00-$20.00 per hour

**Experience**:
