**What Your Day Will Look Like**

As Labour Foreman, you will report to the Senior Site Superintendent and manage, coordinate, and oversee the work of general labourers.

**Hours of Work**:Regular Hours of Work 7:00am - 4:30pm. Saturday and after-hours work is a requirement on an as-needed basis.

**Work Location**: Southwest Construction Management job sites as required. Currently working on Cunard Residences.

**What You'll be Responsible For**
- Providing general labour assistance to the Site Superintendent as required.
- Understanding the requirements of materials and supplies, and issuing purchase orders when necessary.
- Ensuring workers have been properly trained in construction site procedures, safety rules, emergency measures, etc.
- Completing and approving appropriate time sheets, reporting any discrepancies.
- Receiving delivered materials on the construction site as per established procedure - checking, document management, and storing - and forwarding the delivery slip to the Superintendent.
- Solving on-site, work-related issues.
- Ensuring compliance with labour safety standards and reporting any violations.
- Coordinating garbage bin and porta-potty collections/drop-offs.

**Your Environment**

You will be required to adjust to many different working conditions including standing for long periods, climbing stairs, heavy lifting, confined spaces, heights, loud noises, and repetitive movements. Seasonal weather is a factor in the completion of duties. Safety hazards can be, but are not limited to, seasonal temperature extremes, heavy lifting, and exposure to chemicals and electrical equipment.

- Fall protection, WHMIS, and hands-on tool experience are required
- Experience with flagging, bobcat, and dewatering is important
- Ability to perform assigned duties with mínimal supervision
- Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office
- Strong multitasking and organizational skills
- Proven ability to plan, organize, and prioritize work
- Strong attention to detail with a high level of quality

Position requires **Criminal Records Check Completion **and a **Valid Drivers License.**
