Home Flood Assessor

**Our Home Flood Assessors are responsible for providing home assessments and related tasks involved in this program. This role would be perfect for individuals looking to supplement income or have flexibility in their day.**

Full training is provided and paid upon successfully completing the course. Training involves 40 hours training, including online modules and site visits.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Home flood assessments, data entry, reporting and communicating with clients in the Windsor area
- Other duties from time to time (public engagement, etc.)

**Qualifications and Requirements**:

- High School Diploma
- Degree or Diploma in Environment, Construction Engineering, Civil Engineering, Environmental Science, Landscape Design, or related field is an asset.
- Demonstrated competencies in one of the following areas: home construction, home inspection, environmental assessments/inspections, water resources management, storm water management, landscaping and design, and/or environmental engineering
- Must possess excellent oral, written, organizational, and multitasking skills
- MS Excel and MS Word knowledge and use preferred
- Ability to work well in a team setting
- Ability to work with mínimal supervision
- Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Must be punctual and dependable with a professional demeanor
- Possess initiative, adaptability, flexibility, and a willingness to learn
- Driver’s license with clean driver’s abstract is required
- Must be available to travel locally
- Possession of a vehicle is an asset

**Job Types**: Part-time, Fixed term contract, Casual, Seasonal
Contract length: 4 months

- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
