Job Type: approximately 30-40 hours per week.

**Position Summary**

Reporting to the Owner and Operations Manager, the Cookie Maker will work in a team atmosphere providing gourmet cookies, cakes, etc to our cookie lovers. The Cookie Maker is responsible for making and scooping dough; baking and packaging cookies; decorating; and cleaning the bakery throughout your scheduled shift.

**Job Duties & Responsibilities**
- Decorating sugar cookies with royal icing
- Decorating cakes
- Mixing signature cookie dough recipes
- Scooping dough by hand and use of a depositor machine
- Baking and packaging cookies for the store front, custom orders, and Farmer’s Markets
- Ensures all cookies and cupcakes are baked to perfection
- Ensures all orders for the day are completed
- Represents Confetti Sweets at special events, including Farmer’s Markets
- Directly responds to customer requests, including answering phones in bakery
- Carries out opening and closing of bakery
- Cashes out at end of day
- Assists with store cleanliness and upkeep
- Assists with providing daily direction of job duties
- Processes speciality items such as logo cookies, and cookie cupcakes
- Makes decisions regarding inventory for the store and wholesale clients based on freezer stock
- Deliveries if needed

**Education & Experience**
- Minimum 1 year experience in a decorator role is an asset
- Experience in customer service and/or food services is considered an asset

**Skills**
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy, while maintaining speed
- Strong interpersonal, communication skills and customer service skills
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize multiple demands
- Open to feedback

**Physical & Other Requirements**
- Ability to stand for long periods
- Ability to lift, bend, walk, grasp, reach, pull, push and carry up to 25 - 50 lbs
- Exposure to kitchen and outdoor environments
- Ability to use equipment such as: Hobart mixer, KitchenAid mixer, Unifiller Doughpositor, Taylor Scales, and ovens
- Ability to work with icing for cookie cakes and cupcakes, i.e. piping

**Key Competencies**
- Customer Service: Ability to assist clients on a daily basis in a professional and friendly manner

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00-$18.00 per hour
