NOTICE OF VACANCY
POSITION: Fund Development Coordinator
Part time permanent position (Hybrid) remote & on-site; 20hrs per week
Monday to Friday with some weekend and evening availability around events.
: As a member of the Rotary Hospice fundraising team, the Fund Development Coordinator assists in the planning and implementation of fundraising initiatives, signature and third-party events, and donor stewardship activities to ensure the successful achievement of annual fundraising targets.
Key responsibilities include; Developing, prospecting, and maintaining sponsorship relationships, supporting development and growth of annual campaigns, Support in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of fundraising events and establishing and maintaining relationships with donors & community partners.
REPORTS TO: Director of Fund Development & Stewardship
DATE REQUIRED: Position will be posted until filled
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education/experience in Fund Development, Event planning or Public Relations, or related discipline and/or 1-2 years of directly related experience.
SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES:
- Exhibit a professional, compassionate, and caring approach.
- Demonstrate strong active listening and interpersonal communication skills.
- Proven track record in meeting fundraising targets and working collaboratively with stakeholders.
- Demonstrate a high degree of self-direction and self-motivation.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills including presentations.
- Creative, self-starting, highly organized and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Knowledge of the local communities served by Rotary Hospice Stratford Perth an asset.
REQUIREMENTS: - Two Step TB test and Vulnerable Sector Check
- Valid driver’s license & occasional use of vehicle required.
