Manager performs and directs overall restaurant management. Directs staff to ensure that food safety, product preparation, and cleanliness standards are maintained. Maintains standards of restaurant safety and security. Recruits staff and oversees training program. Responsible for inventory and money control systems - may establish inventory schedules. Responsible for local marketing initiatives - may contact prospective customers to promote sales. Maintains business records. Exceptional customer service is a major component of this position.
Le gérant exécute et supervise globalement la gestion du restaurant et des opérations quotidiennes. Il dirige le personnel afin d'assurer le respect des normes en matière de salubrité des aliments, de préparation des produits et de propreté. Il voit au respect des normes en matière de salubrité et de sécurité dans le restaurant. Il recrute le personnel et supervise le programme de formation. Il est responsable des systèmes de gestion des stocks et de contrôle de l'argent. Il s’occupe des initiatives de marketing locales. Il possède d’excellentes aptitudes en service à la clientèle de qualité.
**TÂCHES ET RESPONSABILITÉS**
1. Produit et affiche les horaires de travail du personnel.
2. Recrute, récompense et congédie au besoin les employés.
3. Communique au personnel les changements dans les formules, les normes de préparation des aliments, etc.
4. S'assure du respect de tous les codes locaux et nationaux de salubrité des aliments, de même que des politiques de l'entreprise en matière de salubrité et de sécurité..
5. Appuie les initiatives de marketing locales et nationales.
6. Identifie et contacte les clients potentiels pour promouvoir les ventes.
7. Planifie les événements spéciaux et les promotions
**TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to**:
- Completes and posts staff work schedules.
- Recruits, rewards and terminates staff as needed.
- Communicates changes of food preparation formulas, standards, etc. to staff.
- Directs staff to ensure that food safety, product preparation, and cleanliness standards are maintained.
- Maintains high standards of restaurant safety and security.
- Ensures that all local and national health and food safety codes are maintained and company safety and security policy are followed.
- Supports local and national marketing initiatives.
**Expérience et compétences**
De préférence, expérience minimum de **deux (2) ans en restauration, expérience en supervision et en formation de personnel.**
**Experience & abilities**
**Minimum of two (2) years in a restaurant environment, experience in supervising and training staff is an asset**
**Physical**: Must be able to work any area of the restaurant when needed and to operate a computerized Point of Sale system/cash register. Position requires bending, standing, and walking the entire workday. Must have the ability to lift 10 pounds frequently and up to 30 pounds occasionally.
