**Hours**

This is a temporary contract position to assist with a specific project, so the expected work hours will be flexible and determined by the needs of the project.

**Responsibilities**:
**Duties**:

- **Integration Solution Development**: Collaborate with engineering teams to develop and implement integration solutions that seamlessly incorporate CAN-Bus, Mod-Bus, D-Bus, and Node-Red technologies into our AC electrical generator controls.
- **System Optimization**: Analyze system requirements and develop strategies to optimize the performance and functionality of the control system through efficient integration.
- **Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution**: Identify and troubleshoot integration issues or malfunctions, and implement effective solutions to resolve them in a timely manner.
- **Testing and Validation**: Conduct thorough testing and validation of integrated systems to ensure reliability, efficiency, and compliance with specifications.
- **Documentation and Training**: Create comprehensive documentation of integration processes, configurations, and troubleshooting procedures. Provide training and support to end-users and technical staff as needed.

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- Proficiency in CAN-Bus, D-Bus, and Mod-Bus protocols, with hands-on experience in integrating these technologies into control systems.
- Extensive knowledge of Node-Red, including experience in designing and deploying automation solutions using flow-based programming.
- Strong background in industrial automation, with a solid understanding of control systems, PLCs, and SCADA systems.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail and a proactive approach to resolving technical issues.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree, technical diploma, or demonstrated related experience in electrical engineering, computer science, or a related field.
