**Manager, Travel Technology Implementations - Remote**

This is a highly visible role and requires a mix of excellent leadership, technical, communication, and customer support skills. You must be detail and result oriented, organized, and resourceful in order to take ownership of the department.

**Expedition Expectations**
- Primary responsibility to manage, lead, and coach the team of technical implementation analysts in the deployment of online booking tools and other travel technology tools supported by Direct Travel according to corporate account implementation requirements and timelines established.
- Maintain the department and team of technical implementation analysts by recruiting and training, coaching and developing personal growth opportunities for each team member.
- With a fast-paced customer-service focused environment, engaging with both internal and external clients to ensure customer experience with online booking tools is optimal. This includes being the point of contact for any escalated concerns about customer experience or the support of these tools.
- Innovate new methods or processes within the department to gain speed in implementation through automation and process efficiencies including establishing and maintaining standardization of each booking tool across the enterprise.
- Ensuring product documentation for internal and external needs is developed and maintained including training materials and product updates.
- Keeping up to date with new developments of our own technology and ever-changing online booking tool functionality and leading the deployment of tool enhancements including communication, timeline, and launch activities.

**Passport to Success**
- Proven leadership skills having experience leading a team and managing a department.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience with implementing online booking tools - technical and client interaction skills. Preference given for experience with Concur or Deem.
- Technical aptitude and basic understanding of Web Services and XML, GDS as well as automation of processes.
