Key Accountability/Responsibilities:

- Performs basic lab procedures (i.e. disposal, classifying samples, cleaning spatulas, filling 40ml vials with water etc.)
- Scanning worksheet with data into lims
- Provides general mainlab support help (checking summaries, binding documents, filing and boxes for iron mountain to be set up and classified)
- Print different types of labels for various purposes.
- Follows Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Work Instructions (WIs) when conducting any laboratory work or procedure.
- Employs proper laboratory techniques to minimize risk of mislabelling, sample mix-up and cross contamination between samples and other materials.
- Identifies and communicates non-conformances to Supervisor.
- Maintains training records and relevant qualifications.

Skills and Knowledge:

- High School Diploma.
- Basic computer skills.
- Positive outlook with an ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Good time-management, communication, multi-tasking and priority setting skills.
- Work both independently and as part of a team.
- Detail-oriented and record keeping skills.
- Learns quickly.
- Adapts to a changing environment.
