_With head quarters based in Coteau-du-lac, Quebec (west of Montreal), Ronsco Inc. is an industry leading manufacturer and distributor of railcar and locomotive products, operates the largest independent wheelshop in Canada (Hamilton, Ontario), as well as providing railcar and locomotive repair services._

**Role Definition**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Oversee inventory management, including shop supplies and outdoor storage items, ensuring accuracy and accountability.
- Lead and organize warehouse activities, including:

- Utilizing SAP to track inventory and conducting physical counts.
- Receiving, inspecting, and routing goods to proper storage areas.
- Packing, labeling, and preparing goods for shipment, including documentation.
- Loading and unloading shipments safely and efficiently.
- Manage procurement of shop supplies from approved vendors.
- Handle customer-supplied material and facilitate returns.
- Implement and conduct cycle counting processes, and support annual physical counts.
- Proactively identify stock level adjustments and communicate with Procurement for replenishment.
- Monitor shelf-life items and implement FIFO processes as needed.
- Organize the preparation of stock transfer to other warehouse locations.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams for operational cohesion.
- Promote and ensure adherence to health and safety protocols within the warehouse.
- Keep the storeroom clean, organized, and optimized for efficiency.
- Adapt to and fulfill any additional duties required to support warehouse operations effectively.
- Physically able to perform all required job functions including lifting items/packages weighing up to 70lbs

**Qualifications**:

- High level of comfort with computers and technology, including MS office; experience with SAP B1 ERP a plus (but not required);
- High school diploma and/or DEC preferred;
- Previous experience in warehouse management or supervisory role preferred.
- Forklift certification and other relevant safety certifications preferred.
- Highly reliable, detail oriented, conscientious;
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills;
- A willingness to take on new challenges as they arise.
- Ability to perform physical activities.
