Benefits after 3 month probation

**Responsibilities**
- Mechanical aptitude required
- Capable of lifting up to 50lbs (garbage/food waste removal, etc.)
- Must keep equipment clean after every use
- Hosing down floors and equipment
- Will be required to operate Floor Scrubbers
- Required to work in an environment that is hot, wet & humid
- Clean and tidy washrooms Restocks single unit dispensers containing soap, towels, toilet tissue and sanitary napkins
- Removes full garbage & recycling bags from cleaner’s cart, cafeteria, washrooms & offices/conference rooms and places them in designated area for transport to garbage bin or compactor
- Sweeping and Damp mops hard surface floors
- Must have clean steel toed, non-slip work boots, preferably waterproof
- Wear employer-specified protective gear, including two pairs of gloves, face/eye shields, aprons, boots, etc.
- Exposure to chemical cleaning solution (with protective gear)
- Perform varying tasks while standing, lifting, crouching, etc. during long periods of time
- Follow all Health and Safety guidelines established by spec for this position
- Additional duties as assigned.

**Salary**: $18.77 per hour

**Experience**:

- Cleaning: 1 year (preferred)
- janitorial: 1 year (preferred)
