**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist the Head Cook in the preparation and cooking of various dishes according to recipes and standards.
- Ensure all food is prepared and presented in a timely and appealing manner.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation, following all health and safety regulations.
- Assist in the training and supervision of kitchen staff as needed.
- Manage inventory, ensuring all ingredients are fresh and available for service.
- Follow proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to develop new menu items and specials.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Head Cook or management.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience as a Cook or in a similar role in a high-volume kitchen.
- Strong knowledge of cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and work well in a team.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $19.00-$222.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 - 40 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Holidays
- Weekends as needed

**Experience**:

- Cooking or food preparation: 1 year (preferred)

**Language**:

- English (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Food Handler Certification (preferred)

Work Location: In person
