Flint is recruiting for a Management Trainee, based out of our Flint Office in Burnaby, BC. Flint’s Management Trainee Program offers participants an opportunity to learn our business starting from the ground up. With skilled supervision, a variety of field-based operational training, exposure to a variety of functional areas and mentoring to ensure success, the program will fast-track your career into an operational management role.
You will work directly in the shop and field operations to understand the Project Cycle from start to finish. Your field experience is then combined with leadership training and increased levels of responsibility in project planning, coordination, and other functional areas.
Flint specializes in Maintenance Turnaround, Project Work, Construction, Welding Fabrication and Facility Pipeline Construction.
**What would you be doing?**
- For the first few months, this program will involve “hands-on” in the field, which is physically demanding and labor intensive. You will be exposed to Fabrication, Maintenance, Construction and Turnarounds. This is intended to provide direct experience and allow for an expedited learning curve on the fundamentals of the business.
- In order to offer the broadest range of experience, you must also be prepared to be transferred to multiple Flint divisions throughout their tenure.

- Have a Journeyman Trade Certification, related post-secondary degree / diploma or Welding Engineer Technology (CET) Diploma.
