DG Group is searching for a Financial Analyst to assist in the design, development, implementation and maintenance of various models required for real estate land development as well as work closely with the project managers in preparing budgets and cash flow projections for a portfolio of projects.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Maintain the design and functionality of a project proforma budget and cash flow model (VBA model);
- Design and develop automation of various processes to enhance efficiencies;
- Work closely with the project managers to prepare budget and cash flow projections for a portfolio of projects on an annual/semi-annual basis;
- Complete budget variance analysis to be presented to executives and external partners;
- Prepare management reports on financial results, budgets, cash flow projections, sales, project status, and other key performance indicators;
- Navigate ERP system to review financial information and investigate revenue and cost details;
- Assist the Sr. Finance Manager with preparing project financing packages for banks;
- Other duties/projects as assigned from time to time.
**Key Competencies**:
- Exceptional Excel skills (i.e. **_VBA_**, pivot tables, lookups, advanced formulas, macros, modelling, etc.) and highly proficient with Microsoft Office;
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written;
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skill with good attention to detail;
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced, dynamic, and collaborative team environment;
- Strong organizational skills with a demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple conflicting deadlines - sometimes requiring overtime hours.
**Education and Experience**
- University degree in Business / Finance required;
- Cash flow/financial modelling experience required;
- Land development industry experience preferred;
- 3-5 years related experience.
