**The Opportunity**:
In this role you will follow proper process and procedures to specification outlined for each specific order. This position works closely and cross-trains in Powder Coating and Blasting.

**The Team**:
You will work both independently and as a team member to assemble products according to specifications and drawings by using various hand tools. This position will report directly to a Production Supervisor.

**Responsibilities**:

- Work safely and efficiently by following safety rules and standard operating procedures.
- Assemble materials using hand and power tools following design specifications.
- Operation of equipment within the department
- Propose potential quality or productivity enhancements.
- Review of finish parts to ensure accuracy against drawings.
- Communicate with maintenance or engineering personnel regarding setup of equipment and technical issues.
- Complete all other tasks as assigned.

**Qualifications**:

- Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
- Ability to wear the appropriate PPE for the given tasks
- Proven ability to work safely and follow all SOP.
- Read and understand blueprints, specifications and drawings
- Stand for long periods of time
- Ability to lift 50lbs
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Team orientated, flexible attitude and a willingness to perform a variety of tasks
- Basic mathematics (addition, subtraction)
- Complete repetitive tasks
- Work in fast paced department
- Completion of grade 12 or GED
- Exemplary attendance record
- Production experience an asset
