**A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A WATER DAMAGE TECHNICIAN**

You are what we consider the calm after the storm, and your helpful demeanour eases the worries of our customers.

Stabilizing, cleaning, and placing drying equipment, you prepare for the restoration. Once you arrive at customer locations, you manage onsite emergency response activities including pumping water, clearing carpet, removing drywall, mitigation, etc. You set up deodorization, negative air, ozone, thermal fogging, and related equipment. Monitoring the drying process, you adjust equipment as necessary.

You work collaboratively with construction and content crews and make health and safety a priority. You are a get-it-done person who likes to be active and isn't afraid to jump right in and make things happen. Furthermore, you take pride in your work and feel good about being able to save the day for people in your community while helping us build a loyal customer base

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 1 year of experience in the construction or restoration industry
- Ability to pass a background check
- Availability for scheduled on-call and after-hour shifts
- Valid Drivers License (FULL G - No restrictions)
- Work activities may include physical labour, material handling and lifting, climbing ladders, wearing a respirator, and working in tight spaces (attics, basements, and crawlspaces)
