Nitrogen Operator

**Das Nitrogen Services is currently hiring for a Nitrogen Operator**. This position includes both operating a Nitrogen Pumping Unit as well as hauling bulk Nitrogen product. Das Nitrogen’s main location is in Vegreville, AB but this position will operate primarily out of the remote shop in Drayton Valley, AB to service the surrounding areas.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Operate Nitrogen pumping equipment
- Haul trailers with bulk Nitrogen product to supply the pumpers
- Safely rig-in and rig-out high pressure connections
- Drive Nitrogen pumping unit to and from location
- Inspect tools and equipment and perform any required maintenance prior to the start of work
- Conduct Pre-Job Hazard Assessments and engage in all required meetings
- Maintain proper PPE requirements while at the job site
- Maintain a proper commercial log book
- Perform a thorough pre-trip on their unit at the beginning of the day

**Requirements**:

- Valid Class 1 or 3 drivers license with a clean, 5-year Drivers Abstract. Role will be dependant on license type and experience
- Nitrogen pumping experience preferred but willing to train the appropriate person
- Previous experience in the Oil and Gas industry; knowledge of well completions technology and navigating lease roads
- Ability to think quickly and remediate problems that arise while pumping or hauling
- Must be able to follow standard operating procedures and all safe working practices
- Able and willing to work in remote locations and travel long distances for extended periods of time
- Must be willing to work on an ‘on-call’ basis, sometimes with very short notice
