**About us**

Enlighten Innovations is a Canadian company dedicated to the development and commercialization of two groundbreaking technologies:

- a new sulphur removal and upgrading technology called DSU
- a hybrid flow battery for long duration energy storage

Enlighten is operating its CleanSeas Demonstration Facility in Fort Saskatchewan to further prove out these technologies.

**General Roles and Responsibilities**
- Reports to Operation Manager
- Field operator for an experimental plant
- Monitor operating variables on field instruments and equipment and make changes as necessary for the safe and continuous operation of the plant
- Constant communication with control room operators to ensure steady state operation. Follow directions from control room operator and management
- Assist on operating plant
- General plant maintenance and troubleshooting
- Maintain a detailed operations logbook
- Install, test, calibrate, and troubleshoot instrumentation devices
- Plan, lay out, bend, and install instrumentation tubing
- Run electrical wiring to devices and terminate
- Troubleshoot various types of instruments (e.g. pressure, level, flow, temperature, gas sensors, etc.)
- Service and inspect piping and tubing as required
- Service and rebuild valves
- Willingness to assist other trades

**Qualifications and Education**
- Certified Instrumentation technologists, Instrumentation Journeyman and 3rd and 4th year Apprentices will be considered.
- Ability to read and interpret P&ID’s and electrical line drawings.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work safely and follow all safe work practices.
- Strong quality culture is important.

**Preferred Skills**
- Proficient in the use of power and hand tools.
- Proficient in the use of test meters and other diagnostic equipment.

**Salary**: $35.00-$45.00 per hour

- 10 hour shift
- 12 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Night shift
