**Position: Supervisor**
**Location: Little Explorer Montessori**
**Job Type: Full-Time**
Little Explorer Montessori is a nurturing, play-based early learning center that incorporates open-ended exploration and Montessori-inspired practical learning. We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced **Supervisor** to join our leadership team and support our mission of fostering growth, independence, and joyful learning in young children.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the center in accordance with CCEYA regulations and Montessori philosophies.
- Support, mentor, and provide guidance to educators and staff members.
- Ensure a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment for children, families, and team members.
- Maintain licensing requirements and ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with families and staff to support the developmental and behavioral needs of children.
- Assist in curriculum planning, implementation, and ongoing program evaluation.
- Handle administrative tasks including scheduling, enrollment, and staff management.
**Qualifications**:
- Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE) in good standing with the College of Early Childhood Educators.
- Minimum 2 years of supervisory or leadership experience in an early childhood education setting.
- Strong understanding of play-based and Montessori approaches to learning.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Current Standard First Aid and CPR-C certification.
- Clear Vulnerable Sector Check.
