  • Develop and maintain relationships with targeted architects to achieve annual goals. Influencing skills are essential.
  • Manage the sales process through effective CRM management and team communication.
  • Support architects as a business partner to maximize Allegion share through coordination, demand creation, and strategy sessions.
  • Conduct site surveys and building walk-throughs to assist with the development of specification standards and identifying potential issues
  • Maintain a strategic understanding of market conditions and be able to adapt to and maintain a competitive advantage.
  • Attend factory training sessions to achieve industry-leading knowledge in both mechanical and electronic security solutions.
  • Strong presentation skills are a necessity.
  • Maintain excellent industry/territory knowledge by reviewing and understanding market data of competitive activity
  • Adapt to change in the marketplace
  • Ensure proper customers and partners are adequately trained on new and existing products
  • Maintain awareness of all Company policies, guidelines, and procedures and ensure compliance

Qualifications Required

  • Local understanding of codes and the CSI format of specifications is an asset
  • Ability to travel 10-15%
  • Strong CRM management and computer skills
  • Strong presentation skills and experience
  • Previous experience with the architectural community
  • Bilingual in French and English

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent years of experience

Experience

  • 5+ years of sales or architectural experience.
  • Electronic solution or access control sales experience is an asset
