Regina, Canada Regina Police Service Full time

**Key Responsibilities**

Under the direction of the Asset Manager, responsible for the supervision of staff in the custodial operation of all Regina Police Servicebuildings and grounds.

1. Plans and organizes all custodial operations, practices and procedures and recommends improvements.

2. Supervises Cleaner/Caretakers performing janitorial duties.

3. Ensures the efficient use of staff, equipment and supplies; organizing, supervising and scheduling work assignments.

4. Plans and makes projections for future custodial operation. Monitors and inspects cleanliness of buildings and arranges for cleaning tasks and repairs as needed.

5. Conducts audits of custodial operations to ensure all areas are receiving adequate levels of service based on usage.

6. Sets up cleaning programs, maintains, monitors and purchases janitorial supplies and prepares associated budget.

7. Plans and completes daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly cleaning schedule routines.

8. Assists in establishing and monitoring budget requirements, policy, and procedure development.

9. Other related duties as required.

**Competencies**

1. Grade 12 or Grade 12 equivalent coupled with courses related to facilities management. Minimum 4 to 5 years facility management experience with 3 years supervisory experience in a unionized environment.

2. Demonstrated supervisory and administrative skills with the ability to plan, train, direct, delegate, listen, evaluate, appraise, praise,problem solve, motivate and coach others to ensure smooth and efficient operation.

3. Demonstrated technical skills with the ability to use power cleaning equipment.

4. Demonstrated budgeting skills and the ability to plan, schedule and cost-out required resources and expenditures (including material,labour and indirect costs).

5. Must possess the physical strength, mobility and flexibility to perform the duties of the position, including lifting up to 50 lbs.

6. Must have a valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle for work purposes.

7. Must complete WHMIS training.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $70,522.00-$88,218.00 per year
