Server/bartender

Overview:
Duncan Elks Lodge #69 operates a Sports Lounge 7 days a week, which is open to the general public. (Check out our Facebook page: Duncan Elks Lodge #69) We are seeking a skilled and customer-oriented Bartender/Server to join our team. You will be responsible for providing excellent service to our guests by preparing and serving beverages in a timely and efficient manner.

**Duties**:

- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and customer preferences
- Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner, taking orders and providing recommendations when needed
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area, ensuring all supplies are stocked
- Adhere to all food safety and handling procedures to ensure the safety of our guests
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change
- Monitor alcohol consumption of guests to prevent over-intoxication
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operation of the bar area
- Follow all company policies and procedures regarding alcohol service, safety, and sanitation
- main shifts are 3:00PM to 12:00MIDNIGHT

Qualifications:

- Basic math skills for measuring ingredients and handling cash transactions
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and outgoing personality
- Knowledge of food service regulations and best practices is a plus

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: Up to $18.50 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 20 per week

**Experience**:

- serving: 1 year (preferred)
- Bartending: 1 year (preferred)
