Burlington, Canada Data Communications Management Full time

**Requirements**:

- Have a minimum of 5 years of driving experience with a Valid G Driver’s License
- Provide a driver’s abstract in good standing
- Current forklift certification
- Geographical knowledge of the GTA & Golden Horseshoe
- Demonstrated communication skills
- The ability to perform general warehouse duties, office repairs and building maintenance
- Provides excellent customer service by making prompt and courteous deliveries of customer orders along with picking up items as requested.
- Performs all job responsibilities in a safe, timely and efficient manner

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Load company vehicle accurately and safely for customer deliveries
- Unload company vehicle as needed at customer and/or branch locations
- Drive the company vehicle to make customer deliveries and pick-ups
- Obeying traffic laws and safety procedures
- Maintain appropriate licensing, credentials while maintaining a clean driver’s abstract
- Must always look and conduct themselves in a professional and ethical manner
- Treat external and internal customers and associates with courtesy and respect
- Assist with filling customer orders by retrieving material from the warehouse and other locations within the building.
- Assist with putting away material, verifying quantities and quality of received material as well as maintain clear isles and walkways.
- Assist in maintaining appearance of the building as needed
- Assist with keep material organized and in its proper place in the warehouse
- Aid with production if needed in the various departments
- Assist with waste management such as the use of compactor and waste streams
- Participate in ongoing education and training as directed or desired
- Providing excellent customer service
- Perform vehicle and/or forklift inspections as required
- Schedule routine and vehicle repair maintenance as needed. Maintain presentable vehicle appearance and cleaning as needed
- Assist in physical monthly inventories if required
- Perform other responsibilities as directed
- Perform all duties in a safe and responsible manner, following all safety rules. Inform manager of any potentially hazardous conditions.

**Abilities and Physical Requirements**:

- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand and walk for various periods of time
- Regularly required to lift to 10 lbs. and up to 60 lbs
- Must be able to safely operate a forklift and have a valid forklift license
- Basic knowledge of warehouse, office repairs and maintenance
