Quantity Surveyor

**5 Star Paving Construction Group** is currently looking for an experienced **Civil Construction**Surveyor / Grade Person** to join our growing team in the Excavating & Grading division.

The **Civil Construction**Surveyor / Grade Person** will be responsible to check the grade of Parking Lots, Sidewalks / Curbs, roadways using manual and laser methods. GPS Machine Control experience is an asset.

The qualified applicants should posses the following attributes:

- Must have **a minimum of 2 years of experience in similar type of work**
- Ability to read and understand drawings, perform job layouts & operate survey equipment.
- This position is a full-time / seasonal position with an average of 50-55 per week
- Communication with clients and co-worker’s industry practices and codes
- Must be able to fully understand Excavating & Grading
- Must have a valid ‘G’ drivers’ licence with a clean abstract
- Safety, First-aid training, WHMIS and other certifications
- Prepare As Builds and other documents

- Civil Engineering
