Sales Arborist

**Heritage Tree Care Inc has been a happily thriving, nicely established, and well-regarded tree service in Toronto’s downtown west end since 2006.**

Heritage Tree Care specializes in mature tree health care, high-end tree & shrub enhancement, large technical tree pruning, planting, and the occasional tricky removal.

We are a small company with significant online and local presence so we can pick what jobs we take on and maintain a high-quality work standard and a steady flow of satisfying local work with all the necessary machines to deal with it.

We also have a well-oiled company infrastructure that keeps everything running smoothly, and everyone is happy and well-looked after.

**We offer a full/part-time or freelance sales arborist position for both residential and commercial prospects.**

**Requirements**:

- 3+ years of experience in the industry
- ISA Certified Arborist
- Excellent communication skills
- Clean drivers abstract
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Actively Engage with clients and provide on-site tree risk assessment, client consultation in a variety of conditions and environments, and articulate findings through verbal and written communication
- Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing clients
- Provide clients with expert advice and education specific to their tree care needs
- Provide detailed estimates including but not limited to tree species, equipment requirements, time allotments, and crew requirements
- Effectively utilize **Jobber** (our field management software)
- Effectively communicate the work parameters of each job sold to all HTC members
- Answer follow-up inquiries on jobs sold
- Always seek to lower costs, improve efficiency, and increase production to achieve sales goals and targets
- Solicit for work prospects, when necessary, through research and cold calling
- Study and fully understand the City of Toronto and Mississauga Urban Tree By-laws as they relate to:
1. Private Ownership

2. Construction Purposes

3. Ravine Authority

4. City Tree Access
- Study and understand current location-specific tree species concerns and all it entails
