**Contract Fire Inspector**:
The Town of Strathmore is seeking a **Contract Fire Inspector**to support our Fire Department with inspection and code compliance services in 2025. This is a contract position, ideal for an incorporated business or sole proprietor with fire inspection expertise.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Perform inspections for compliance with the Safety Codes Act, National Fire Code, Town of Strathmore QMP, and other applicable regulations.
- Conduct site visits, re-inspections, and investigations into complaints, accidents, and unsafe conditions.
- Document infractions and issue orders to comply where necessary.
- Provide guidance to internal teams and the public on fire code requirements.
- Maintain accurate documentation of all inspections, correspondence, and reports.

**Qualifications**
- Registered business (incorporated or sole proprietorship).
- Minimum five years of experience in the fire service, with at least one year as an inspector.
- Certified Safety Codes Officer - Fire Discipline (Group B, Level 1)
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and permitting software.
- Valid Alberta Class 5 driver’s license.
