**Full Time - Day Shift (7:00am - 3:30pm with rotating weekends)**

We are currently seeking a professional and highly motivated individual for the role of Animal Care Specialist, at our Isolation Center in Brockville, ON. Reporting to the Farm Supervisor, you will be responsible for the care and maintenance of young bulls in accordance established SOP’s. Requires working regular days, weekends and statutory holidays as scheduled. Attention to detail and ability to follow direction is critical to this role.

The responsibilities of this role include:

- Feeding and caring for bulls.
- Stocking of supplies (hay/grain/bedding) by skid steer operation.
- Machinery & equipment maintenance.
- Field work including hay production, manure spreading.
- Clipping, handling and training of young bulls.
- Support as needed to veterinarians.
- High School Diploma.
- Have good knowledge of livestock care.
- Prior experience working with large animals.
- Ability and experience operating farm equipment.
- Be physically capable of handling bulls, walking/standing for extended periods and other physical tasks.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in at team.
- Ability to follow Biosecurity protocols and related SOP’s.
