Fern Resort is looking for someone who enjoys working with a dynamic team in a fun and casual environment to maintain the standards of the resort while following safety regulations set by the resort and other Government organizations to ensure the resort is in proper running order.

Employees report to 4432 Fern Resort Rd. Ramara, ON

JOB SPECIFICATION

To have a valid G-Class drivers license.

To be reliable, honest, hard working, and flexible.

To perform general maintenance and repair required to all areas of the resort, which includes off-property staff housing.

To collect the garbage from the specified areas 3 -4 times a day.

To check the maintenance book at the Front desk for items that need to be addressed and prioritize which items need to be attended to first. (ie. Plugged toilets, air conditioners, broken items, sewage problems)

In the winter, to make sure the walkways and paths are cleared and salted.

In the Spring, Summer, and Fall, to rake the leaves and to sweep the necessary areas.

To check with the maintenance manager for instructions on your daily routine.

To answer any radio calls and to advise the office as to when the reported issue may be looked after.

In summer, to assist with the upkeep of the grounds.

To assist with various projects around the resort, which may include carpentry, plumbing, electrical and painting.

May be required to work elsewhere on the resort.

Shifts are 1:30pm - 10:00pm Nights and 8:00am -4:30pm Days
