**Certified Pharmacy Technician**
We are looking for an individual who is **Experienced in the Retail Pharmacy Field** to work as a **Pharmacy Technician** at a community pharmacy in Orleans.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**:
**Patient greeting and confirmation of accuracy of all pertinent prescription information prior to filling,**
Data entry of patient care information into Kroll,
**Third Party adjudication**
Accurate dispensing prescription medications,
**Utilizing your Full Scope of Practice in your workday**:
Receive a verbal order (except for controlled substances)
Perform a technical check of a new prescription
Perform a technical check of a refill prescription
Perform a technical check of a Controlled substance
Prescription Transfer prescriptions
Provide instructions on how to operate medical devices
Conduct tests
Administering parenteral and non-parenteral medication according to your training and scope of practice
**QUALIFICATIONS**:
**Experience as a Pharmacy Assistant; AND Experience with Kroll**
**excellent organizational skills and detail orientation;**
strong communication skills;
**demonstrated customer service experience;**
strong motivation to succeed;
**proficient computer/data/entry skills with Kroll and Microsoft Office.**
**Registration with the Ontario College of Pharmacist required**
**Injection Certification Preferred**
Flexible schedule
Compensation will be based on experience and skill set.
All applicants will be required to provide proof of vaccination as a condition of employment.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $29.00-$35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8 - 38 per week

- DCS / DEC (required)
**Experience**:
- Pharmacy technician experience: 1 year (required)
**Language**:
- Fluent English (required)
- French (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- OCP Certification (required)
- Injection Certified (preferred)
