**Job Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Implementation of case planning and/or treatment plans
- Provide direct client care and support to adult/children experiencing mental health issues.
- Monitor and document client behaviour, progress, and any changes in condition.
- Engage clients in therapeutic activities and promote a safe environment.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions and care provided.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.
- Educate clients and families (with permission) about mental health resources and treatment options.

**Requirements**:

- Experience working with children/adults particularly in a mental health counselling role setting.
- Knowledge of areas of mental health counselling and basic understanding of mental health disorders.
- Strong skills in client care, including empathy, communication, and active listening.
- Familiarity with data collection methods and note taking related to mental health
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential for maintaining accurate records.
