**Key Responsibilities**:
We are seeking a dedicated Crop Scout to join our team in Canada. In this role, you will play a vital part in maximizing crop yields and ensuring the health of our agricultural products. Your work will directly contribute to our mission of providing innovative solutions and building strong partnerships.
- Conduct regular field inspections to assess crop health and identify potential issues.
- Monitor irrigation systems and recommend adjustments as needed.
- Collaborate with farmers to implement best practices for crop management.
- Collect data on pest populations and recommend control measures.
- Maintain accurate records of scouting activities and findings.
- Assist in the operation of farm machinery as required.
- Provide recommendations for improving crop yield based on observations.
- Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.

**Qualifications**:

- Strong mechanical knowledge relevant to agricultural equipment.
- Experience with irrigation systems and horticulture practices.
- Familiarity with farm machinery operations.
- Basic math skills for data analysis and reporting.
- Ability to lift heavy objects safely as part of fieldwork.
- Experience with maintenance of agricultural tools is a plus.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration.
