**Instructor Role**

Are you a math/science tutor ? Or recent graduate in Tech? Can you handle a class of 12 students? You might be the one we are looking for We provide $24-30 / hr plus travelling expenses with a minimum 3 hours/day for each day worked.

Let us train you to be Robotics & Coding tutor and then provide continued employment with minimum 15 hours a week. Lot of opportunities to move to full time role too. No coding or other technical background required. It can help - but not required. This is an amazing opportunity to work with latest educational robots, teach the students and see their progress which building a great career.

On a day to day basis, you are not tied to a single office or location. Rather you go to a different location, teach there and interact with kids on a daily basis. You get to see the progress a lot of kids make in the technology domain and inspire them to take up technology careers down the line.

You need to be based in/around Surrey BC and will travel to different locations within the city to deliver the classes. Mostly one location a day. You will also need to keep some robots and hardware with yourself and use it for projects during the classes.

**Qualifications & Experience**
- Mandatory - Excellent, communication skills and ability communicating with children.
- Mandatory - Ability to manage a class of 12+ elementary/middle school students. Track record/experience doing so.
- Desirable (Not mandatory) - Teaching Experience in Canada. Any group setting teaching in any topic (Math, Science etc.) would be an asset.
- Desirable (Not mandatory) - Scratch/Python/Lego kids programming experience.
- Desirable (Not mandatory) - Familiar with Canadian Education System, completed schooling/College in Canada.

**Requirements Non-Technical**:

- Want to have a positive impact on kids.
- Want to share your love for technology and making.
- Dig a relaxed, casual, work environment but remember it is a work environment.

**Learning the Role**

We provide a 1-2 week training After the successful completion, you will lead classes in various locations in Surrey BC or assist in the classes. We do everything we can to train you and make yourself comfortable.

**Role Details**

Typical work hours are typically from 2 pm to 5/7 pm PST on weekdays with predefined schedules. 15 hours/week is guaranteed. Part time permanent employment with 15 hours guaranteed minimum.

**Salary**: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
