We are hiring a full-time TAU Digital Press Operator to join our team. They will be responsible for producing labels by operating and maintaining the Durst TAU digital press. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with a strong background in digital printing, the ability to troubleshoot and solve technical issues efficiently, and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.

**Duties/Responsibilities**:

- Operate the Durst TAU digital press to produce high-quality print materials according to job specifications.
- Review job requirements to understand the scope and parameters of print jobs.
- Prepare, align, and configure machinery, ink, rollers, and substrate.
- Inspect proof sheets to evaluate the quality of printing and make necessary adjustments to meet quality standards.
- Maintain inventory of supplies needed to operate printing presses.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on the Durst TAU digital press.
- Monitor print quality throughout the production process and make adjustments as necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of production activities and material usage.
- Collaborate with the production team to meet deadlines and optimize workflow.
- Ensure compliance with all safety and quality standards.
- Assist in the development and implementation of process improvements.
- Troubleshoot issues with the printing press and make basic repairs.
- Inform the GM of problems with equipment or materials.
- Maintain a clean area around printing machinery.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

**Required Skills/Abilities**:

- Ability to operate or quickly learn to operate Digital printing presses and related software.
- Ability to follow instructions.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

**Experience**:

- Working knowledge of Durst Workflow an asset.
- Experience with Durst Label printers an asset.
- 3+ years Digital Press operating experience required.
- Roll fed Label printing experience an asset.

**Physical Requirements**:

- Physically able to operate printing presses.
- Able to bend or kneel frequently.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $29.00-$32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
