**About us**

Hardland Landscape & Design in Thunder Bay, ON is looking for motivated employees to provide a high level of customer service to our winter clients.

We are looking for experienced Skid Steer and Plow Truck Operators for winter snow removal activities to join our team as we head into the winter season. With the potential for summer employment opportunities.

**Winter Plow and Skid Steer Operators**for the 2025-2026 winter season.

**Position Details**
- **Hours**: On-call during snowfalls, typically **12- 14 hour shifts** during the day and or night.
- **Compensation**: $30 per hour, paid bi-weekly..
- **Start Date**: November 20, 2025
- **Location**: Thunder Bay and surrounding area

**Responsibilities**:

- Operate a company plow truck( V Plows) and or a skid steer to clear lots, laneways, residential and commercial driveways
- Assist shovel crews when required

**Qualifications**:

- Previous plow truck or heavy equipment experience preferred
- Valid G licence required
- Ability to work long shifts dependent on severity of storms, be reliable and available on short notice
- Strong reliability and safety awareness
- Clean drivers abstract available on request
- Complete daily route logs and follow supervision directions, ability to work alone efficiently and with a team
- Ensure safety of equipment and properties maintained
- Attention to detail is required, Maintain a high level of quality control.
- Ability to work outdoors in all conditions
- Good physical fitness (able to lift 50 lbs)
- Own transportation is a asset

- Thunder Bay, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
