**Position Summary**:
The Behaviour Intervention Specialist at Elite Developmental Services Inc. (Elite DSI) plays a key role in supporting individuals with developmental disabilities and neurodivergent needs. This part-time position involves the implementation, and monitoring of individualized Behaviour Intervention Plans (BIPs), hands-on practical training with staff, and promoting a culture of safety, dignity, and respect. The role requires close collaboration with staff, families, and leadership to ensure consistent, high-quality support practices that align with relevant legislation and organizational values.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Implement, Behaviour Intervention Plans (BIPs) and provide suggestions to the supervising RBA
- Support staff in implementing BIPs through hands-on coaching and training
- Monitor behavioural data to assess progress and adjust interventions as needed
- Participate in internal reviews, planning meetings, and risk assessments
- Ensure alignment of supports relevant legislation, and other regulatory frameworks
- Promote proactive, respectful, and inclusive approaches to behavioural intervention
- Document observations, provide consult notes for each interaction, and complete yearly progress reports in a clear, professional manner
- Communicate effectively with families, staff, and leadership
- Contribute to a safe, person-centered support environment

**Qualifications**:

- Degree in Behavioural Science, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field with experience implementing Behaviour Intervention Plans using various ABA strategies
- Experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities or neurodivergence
- Knowledge of CYFSA, QSF, and Regulation 299/10 is considered an asset
- Training or certification in Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA)
- Excellent communication, coaching, and interpersonal skills
- Experience with staff training and behaviour data collection
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Acceptable Vulnerable Sector Screening and Broad Record Check (if applicable)
