Right now, we are looking to add to our team on **Vancouver Island **by adding a **Merchandising Area Lead.**

The **Area Lead** oversees the merchandising team across a designated area, ensuring high standards of service, communication, and product presentation. This role involves supporting, coaching, and leading merchandisers, while also acting as a direct link between store contacts and the leadership team. The Area Lead plays a pivotal role in ensuring that program guidelines and merchandising standards are consistently upheld across multiple stores.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Communication & Coordination**:

- Coordinate and assign stores and programs for merchandisers.
- Log travel time and punch in/out at store locations.
- Connect with the supervisor to discuss needs for the day and upcoming coverage

**Store Support & Merchandising**:

- Serve as a home store lead while overseeing 4-6 stores within the supervisor’s area.
- Complete merchandising tasks in the home store, including condensing, pruning, labeling, watering, and general service, as outlined in merchandiser responsibilities.
- Assist with order management, pulling shrink, and ensuring proper signage.

**Training & Coaching**:

- Train and coach merchandisers on best practices and merchandising standards Work alongside merchandisers in stores to guide and correct tasks, ensuring all merchandising standards are met.
- Provide support to merchandisers in watering, pulling shrink, fixing labels, and fulfilling orders where needed

**Leadership & Oversight**:

- Ensure all stores in your area meet merchandising standards and provide hands-on support when required
- Build and maintain professional relationships with store contacts
- Relay important store-related information to the supervisor and provide updates on merchandising activities

**Reporting & Documentation**:

- Complete Store Visit Report using ET Grow
- Outdoor Scheduling & Maintenance (In Season)
- Support Supervisor in scheduling and coordination of outdoor programs for designated stores.
- Ensure outdoor product displays are well-maintained and compliant with program standards.
- Ensure, communicate and implement merchandising standards with direct reports

**A Valid Driver's License and Reliable Vehicle are Required for This Role.**

Salary is commensurate with experience and education, as well as external and internal markets.

**Salary range is $21 - $25 per hour**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $21.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 26 - 36 per week
