Financial Analyst

**Airfoam Industries Ltd **is a market leader in the manufacturing, sales, and distribution of a variety of sustainable and budget friendly EPS products for the construction, forest and food and medical packaging industries.

Our people are our best and most important asset and through the development of this incredible team of people along with the growth of our business, we are now seeking to add a **Senior Financial Analyst** to lead the budgeting, forecasting and monthly reporting for our group of companies.

As a member of the Accounting, Finance and IT team, the **Financial Analyst **will report to the director of this team and will bring a proven track record in financial data analytics, variance reporting, forecasting, and budgeting. Participating on the team for special projects, expertise in financial and operational modeling that support the new product and business development activities is essential.

**DUTIES**:

- Participate as a member of the cross-functional Product Development Team, providing high quality, relevant and timely financial analysis.
- Prepare financial modeling to provide costing, pricing and financial forecast analysis related to new product and business development.
- Create financial and operational modeling to provide insight and solutions to support strategic decision making.
- Update and develop costing models to accurately reflect inventory and manufacturing costs.
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes, attend meetings, compile data, and build forecast plan.
- Update and maintain pricing schedules (monthly, quarterly, and annual fixed pricing).
- Review item and customer profitability and identify factors impacting price and profitability.
- Perform financial and operational analysis (e.g., inventory, KPIs, trends, etc.)
- Participate in review meetings with business leaders to communicate results and provide recommendations for improvements.
- Complete market surveys and government compliance surveys.
- Prepare monthly and ad hoc reports.
- Support Accounting team members and participate in projects, as required.
- Other job-related duties, as assigned.

**What You Bring**:

- Degree in Accounting or Finance.
- CPA Designation preferred.
- 2+ years of proven experience in financial data analytics, variance reporting, forecasting, and budgeting, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience in using ERP systems; experience with NetSuite is preferred
- Experience with financial modeling; able to translate the impact of analysis to the business.
- Superior writing and presentation skills, with experience in development and review of business cases.
- Proven analytic skills with the ability to understand complex issues and present them in concise and meaningful ways.
- Excellent time management, organizational skills, and ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a high-volume environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate professionally and tactfully to internal and external stakeholders; ability to translate data into actionable insight
- Willingness to learn and adapt to a changing environment
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently.

**Salary**: $70,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
