** Workforce Analysts** work with senior business leaders to ensure their organization has access to the human capital needed to execute their immediate and long-term business strategies. **What can I expect to do in this role?**: In this dynamic role, you will:
- Analyze data, identify trends, and present HR data in the form of dashboards, infographics, and reports designed to support clients in achieving their business goals and resolve HR business problems.
- Develop, monitor and report on key performance and people analytics metrics to identify challenges and opportunities.
- Participate in the annual Multi-Year Planning (MYP) process and prepare in-year workforce impact plans that form the foundation of fiscal and business planning activities.
- Lead outreach and build relationships with clients and stakeholders to facilitate information-sharing, proactively anticipate and respond to analytics and evidence needs across the ministry.
- Oversee the integrity and security of the ministry's Workforce Information Network (WIN) information system.
- Support corporate HR initiatives and other human capital projects.
**How do I qualify?**:
**Analytical, Problem-Solving and Evaluation Skills**:
- You can anticipate and identify trends and highlights, analyze findings and relationships between datasets, use forecasting models and conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis.
- You know how to undertake a full research process for decision making including determining the problem statement, detailing methodology, conducting research, and developing options and recommendations for senior leaders.
**Communication and Relationship Management Skills**:
- You take a client-centric approach and demonstrate skills to build and foster business relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
- You are a natural collaborator who values teamwork to solve difficult problems.
- You can prepare various reports and communication materials such as presentations, briefing notes, dashboards and info graphics.
**Technical Knowledge**:
- You have knowledge of quantitative, qualitative and statistical analysis to combine various sources of data to make projections, assess potential issues and develop options and recommendations to address organizational and business challenges.
- You have knowledge of human resources and human capital planning to understand complicated business and HR challenges and make strategic planning recommendations based on workforce data.
